New Health Minister backs Green Acres plans

5th November 2014

Speaking on BBC Radio Guernsey, the new Minister of the States Health and Social Services Department, Deputy Paul Luxon, gave his full backing to the redevelopment of the former Green Acres Hotel into a specialist dementia care home. This endorsed the Chief Minister’s earlier support for the project, which, If approved by the States Environment Department, will be privately funded and privately operated and assist the States of Guernsey with the growing responsibility of caring for people suffering from dementia.
