Just ask Matt Brouard

5th March 2013

Having been interviewed on Radio Guernsey last month about Guernsey’s average house price index, Cooper Brouard Director, Matt Brouard, is quoted in today’s Guernsey Press review on the state of retail, housing and tourism in Guernsey.

Matt says house sales have remained steady, particularly for middle priced properties, with people continuing to move for genuine reasons such as downsizing or needing a larger house.

There is not a lot of heat in the market that has yet to return to its pre-2008 levels, when sales had been busy year round. The market presently experiences peaks and troughs through the changing seasons but that actually resembles stability over a 12 month period.
