Santa Claus is running to town

16th December 2013

Cooper Brouard’s Kate Worthington, Matt Brouard and Trevor Cooper joined more than 500 other sponsored runners, joggers and walkers each dressed as Santa Claus in this year’s annual Santa Fun Run.

It was a wonderfully bizarre spectacle when the real Father Christmas started the race at Pembroke Bay, with the finish line three and a half miles away in Town Church Square.

Fundraising was in aid of A.R.C. (Aid Reaching Children)   focusing this year on the Philippines crisis. The charity was founded in 1998 with the aim of providing a better quality of life for children suffering deprivation, loss of parents, home or education and aid in medical supplies or assistance.
