The end of 2020 came to an emphatic close with 19 Open Market properties conveyed through court in December.
It was certainly a year like no other, but with all the challenges that were thrown our way, Guernsey’s housing market has excelled itself. Quite a feat under the considerable circumstances.
After a successful 2019 that closed with a total of 1529 transactions and £578,000,000 in total value, it has been a welcomed surprise to see an increase in 2020 by 104 additional property transactions with a value of £726,000,000.
The energy in the market does not appear to be letting up either. Interest is being shown across the price ranges with buyers lined up waiting for the right properties.
